Order Processing Specialist

Job Overview As an Order Processing Specialist, you’ll keep orders moving accurately from entry through fulfillment. You’ll use warehouse management and inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office to coordinate inventory, shipping logistics, and warehouse distribution. Your attention to detail and customer service will help teams meet order needs while supporting trade compliance and international trade regulations. Responsibilities Enter and verify order information; use data entry, basic math, and an order management system such as AS400 or material requirements planning (MRP) software to resolve discrepancies. Support inventory management, stocking, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, and order fulfillment. Use an RF (radio frequency) scanner, order picker, pallet jack, and forklift as authorized to move, load, and unload goods. Coordinate shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and logistics; follow applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Your impact: Accurate order processing and careful shipment coordination help customers receive the right products and help warehouse teams keep work flowing. Qualifications Experience in warehouse operations, warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, or order processing is helpful; warehouse experience is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, MRP, AS400, and Microsoft Office is an asset. Ability to perform accurate data entry and basic math, follow order and shipping procedures, and provide responsive customer service. Experience with inventory management, stocking, packaging, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics is preferred. Forklift, order picker, RF scanner, or pallet jack experience is useful; operate equipment only when trained and authorized.
