Order Processing Specialist

Job Overview As an Order Processing Specialist, you’ll keep orders moving accurately from entry through shipment. You’ll coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams, update inventory and order records, and support smooth warehouse distribution. Your work helps customers receive the right products while giving colleagues reliable information to fulfill each order. Duties Enter and verify orders using a warehouse management system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, material requirements planning (MRP), or AS400; maintain accurate data entry. Support order fulfillment through inventory management, stocking, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, and shipping and receiving. Use an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift as authorized; load and unload products while following warehouse operations and safety procedures. Coordinate shipping logistics and warehouse distribution, including trade compliance and applicable international trade regulations. Respond to order and shipment questions with clear, timely customer service. Your impact: Accurate processing and coordination help customers receive complete orders and help warehouse teams plan their work. Experience Required: Basic math, accurate data entry, Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to follow detailed order and inventory procedures. Preferred: Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 is an asset. Experience with shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and warehouse distribution is helpful. Experience using a forklift, order picker, RF scanner, or pallet jack is preferred; ability to load and unload, stock, and package products is valuable.
