Order Picker - Up to $23.55/hr

The Boar's Head Groveport Distribution Center operates across 3 shifts and shift availability will vary based on company needs. Shift pay & times are: 1st shift - $22.05/hr: 6:00a – 2:30p | Monday through Friday 2nd shift - $23.55/hr: 2:00p – 10:30p | Monday through Friday 3rd shift - $23.55/hr: 10:00p Sunday night through 6:30am Friday morning Every effort will be made to accommodate shift requests, but specific shift availability is not guaranteed. Essential Functions Manages pick ticket orders. Pulls warehouse items from correct locations based on number, Item Number, quantity, and quality requirements. Ensures that orders are accurate. Stages items correctly for delivery. Picking quota is 160 cases per hour. Accuracy and efficiency will be monitored daily/weekly. Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed. Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead. Must keep pace with work area and team. Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members. Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager. Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers. Responsible for keeping work area clean. Other duties may be assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED This is a manual picking position and not a forklift operator - previous picking/packing experience is preferred but not required.
