Order Picker/Puller & Restocker

We are looking for an order Picker/Puller to help with meticulous inventory picking from shelves to order carts, receiving, helping load trucks and unload containers, stocking the picking shelves, light assembly, and more around the warehouse. Preference is given to those with some college experience. This is most certainly *not* an Amazon or other big-box store warehouse job. There's loads of room for growth; we promote in-house first, and we want you to succeed and be happy here. While working in the warehouse, you will need to be on your feet, and you must be able to safely lift cartons up to 50lbs and easily move around the warehouse space. The ability to learn, read, and remember instructions is required. Our standard workday is 7am - 3pm, Monday-Friday During peak season, we would love to have you pick up extra hours if you are available. There is a vacation blackout period between Thanksgiving and December 25 every year. Please read the entire job posting and answer all questions in the application. Literate in English (written and oral) Track record of success in methodical, organized, detail-oriented work Basic computer literacy - must have the ability to learn the software we use Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to pick items accurately and efficiently Work quietly and efficiently unsupervised for at least 60 minutes straight Remember and follow multiple directions without supervision Work quickly, quietly, and independently, meeting efficiency goals Move comfortably and quickly around a large warehouse space Stand, walk, squat, bend, and move throughout your entire shift Maintain focus for the duration of the shift Frequently lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs, and climb stairs while holding boxes Reliably get to and from work Safely operate a pallet jack, picking trolley, and various carts Maintain a civil attitude (Arrive at work sober, clean, and able to communicate with coworkers in a polite and respectful fashion) Main Duties Accurately pick items from a picklist Pack orders accurately and quickly Stock picking shelves, shipping supplies, etc. Light assembly/quality control at times throughout the year Identify and communicate errors to the manager Other duties as assigned.
