Order Picker/Packer

Summary This position performs a variety of warehouse and assembly-related tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment. Primary responsibilities include building product kits, folding and assorting balloons, picking and packing customer orders, and performing repetitive assembly and packaging work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Employees are expected to work efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Duties Read and understand customer orders and pick tickets Pick products accurately for order fulfillment Build and assemble product kits and assortments Fold, sort, count, and package balloons and related products Perform repetitive assembly work with speed and accuracy Pack customer orders neatly, securely, and accurately Inspect orders to ensure accuracy prior to shipment Fill orders while meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards Stock and replenish pick bins and warehouse inventory locations Count, sort, and organize inventory accurately Complete paperwork and inventory documentation neatly and accurately Enter data accurately into company computer systems Load and unload products, boxes, and carts safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work cooperatively with team members and assist others as needed Perform additional warehouse or assembly duties as assigned by management Qualifications Prefer previous warehouse experience (2-4 YEARS) in a high volume environment (warehouse, assembly, production, or pick/pack experience preferred) Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and understand numbers, labels, and order information Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer and data entry skill Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Accurate attention to detail Basic computer skills Physical Demands Stand, Walking, Sitting Ability to walk/stand for entirety of shift Stooping regularly Climbing Ladders Communicating Verbally Crouching regularly Fine Manipulation (picking) Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand(s) Hearing Keyboarding Lifting / Carrying: up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus Pushing / Pulling Frequent Reaching: at / below shoulder level & overhead Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour.
