Order Picker/Packer

Job Overview As an Order Picker/Packer, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving accurately and safely from storage to shipment. You’ll use scanning tools and material handling equipment to pick, verify, pack, and stage products while supporting smooth warehouse operations. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys active work, teamwork, and careful attention to detail. Duties Pick items using order lists, an order picker, or a radio-frequency (RF) scanner; confirm products and quantities through barcode scanning. Pack and label orders, perform quality checks, and stage shipments for dispatch. Receive, load, unload, move, and stock materials; support shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Operate approved equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers, following site procedures. Keep work areas organized and follow safety protocols, including proper personal protective equipment (PPE) use. Your impact: Accurate picking and packing helps customers receive the right products and helps warehouse teams maintain dependable order fulfillment. Skills Essential: Attention to detail, basic math, order picking, packing, and safe manual handling; ability to perform heavy lifting as required. Essential: Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, materials handling, and inventory management systems. Preferred: Experience with a warehouse management system, inventory management, shipping and receiving, stocking, and load/unload tasks. Preferred: Experience operating material handling equipment or heavy equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, or cherry pickers. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus; all candidates should demonstrate safety protocol adherence and quality control awareness.
