Responsibilities
• Operate an order picker forklift to perform order-picking of plumbing and piping systems in a warehouse setting.
• Use reach forklifts (such as Crown or Raymond models) to safely move, retrieve, and stage materials.
• Navigate the warehouse using an RF scanner to locate, select, and confirm parts and products according to order requirements.
• Lift, move, and handle items weighing up to 40 lbs as part of the order picking and material handling process.
• Box picked items securely, apply appropriate labels and stickers, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Palletize completed orders in an organized and stable manner to ensure safe transport and storage.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of fall protection equipment and adherence to forklift operating standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area within the warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and cooperative approach while working with a small warehouse team.
Essential Skills
• Proven experience operating an order picker forklift with valid third-party certification.
• Current fall protection certification and ability to use fall protection equipment correctly.
• Hands-on experience with reach forklifts, including models such as Crown or Raymond.
• Ability to perform order picking tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Proficiency using RF scanners to locate, pick, and verify warehouse inventory.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, labeling, and palletizing of orders.
• Reliable work ethic and consistently positive attitude in a warehouse environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience in plumbing or pipe products and related warehouse operations.
• Experience with packing, boxing, and labeling orders for shipment.
• Comfort working in a small team environment with clear reporting lines.

Work Environment
The position is based in a warehouse environment with a staff of approximately 18 people and a clear supervisory structure. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on a 6-month contract-to-hire arrangement, with the possibility of long-term employment. The facility is transit accessible, making commuting convenient. Daily work involves operating order picker and reach forklifts, using RF scanners, and handling plumbing and piping products in a typical industrial warehouse setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.02 - $28.02/hr.
