Order Picker/Forklift Operator

Job Overview As an Order Picker/Forklift Operator, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by safely picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You’ll use forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products, maintain accurate inventory, and support warehouse distribution. This hands-on role suits someone who works carefully, follows safety protocols, and enjoys helping orders reach their next destination. Responsibilities Pick and pack orders using an order picker, cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, or pallet jack as appropriate Scan barcodes with an RF (radio frequency) scanner and use the warehouse management system to confirm picks and update inventory Load and unload shipments, stock products, and support shipping and receiving Package items securely and handle materials using safe manual handling practices, including when heavy lifting is required Follow safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) while operating equipment Skills Experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, warehouse distribution, picking and packing, or inventory management is helpful Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management systems, RF scanners, and barcode scanning for logistics is preferred Ability to perform basic math and accurately complete order picking, stocking, packaging, and materials handling tasks Heavy equipment operation or material handling equipment operation experience is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus Demonstrated warehouse experience, safe equipment use, and attention to detail are valuable for this role Pay: $19.80 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
