DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Pull product ensuring all materials are pulled and proper paperwork completed as per company procedure Prioritize cuts or pulling of product based on instructions on the pick slips Pack product in boxes and pack on skids for shipping purposes Follow protocol closely as per company policies Maintain proper documents for shipping purposes Pulling of products from yard and warehouse Process wire cut orders or order pulling as required Work on wire cutting machine adjusting controls to ensure accurate lengths are being cut Monitor and track inventory as per company procedures (example: Lot numbers & length) Other warehouse tasks as assigned by your manager SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Highly organized, with attention to detail and exceptional time management Good multi-tasker with the ability to work to and meet deadlines Be able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment, for 8 hrs. a day Ability to follow instructions and process orders meticulously Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude Ability to process orders in an organized manner Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, 150 lbs. assisted Problem solver and able to deal with product issues that may occur Strong communication skills EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Minimum grade 12 education Minimum 2 years previous order picking experience Previous customer service experience required Experience or willingness to train on the order picker is required Forklift certified on reach trucks is an asset Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a criminal record check. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Best Plumbing. #BP02 Education Required High School Diploma or better in Other Licenses & Certifications Preferred Forklift
