Order Picker/Cherry Picker

Order Picker / Cherry Picker Operator Stand-up cherry picker experience is required. Applicants must be comfortable working at heights. Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Order Picker / Cherry Picker Operator to help ensure products are selected, prepared, and shipped accurately and on time. This position includes picking orders, unloading containers, handling inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The current schedule is 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. , but it may change to 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. After completing training, employees may be assigned to Shipping, Receiving, or Order Picking based on operational needs. Schedules may vary by department, and overtime or extended hours may be required. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing warehouse duties, and attentive to product details, order accuracy, and quality. Responsibilities Review pick tickets and locate products using tablets, RF scanners, or other warehouse technology. Pick and verify the correct products, quantities, sizes, and specifications. Operate stand-up cherry pickers at elevated rack locations. Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues. Sort, scan, wrap, secure, and prepare orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment and safe handling procedures. Restock and put away inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. Read product labels, SKU numbers, and warehouse signs. Maintain accurate records of completed orders and inventory movements. Inspect equipment and immediately report damage or malfunctions. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company safety, health, and quality-control procedures. Report to work on time and complete the full scheduled shift. Assist Shipping, Receiving, and other warehouse departments as needed. Requirements and Skills Previous experience operating a stand-up cherry picker is required. Must be comfortable working at heights. Previous order picking or warehouse experience. Experience operating Cherry Picker, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Experience using tablet-based picking systems or RF scanners. Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English. Basic math skills to count inventory and verify quantities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and reliable transportation. Ability to work safely at varying warehouse activity levels. Ability to work overtime or extended hours as required. Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts of up to 8–10 hours. Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead as needed. Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50–60 pounds , using proper lifting techniques and assistance or equipment when needed. Ability to move safely around warehouse equipment and work at elevated rack locations. Some assigned tasks may require extended sitting or standing.
