Order Picker

Job Summary As an Order Picker, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and scanning tools to support order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safe, timely distribution. Your impact: Accurate picking and careful packing help customers receive the right products while supporting an organized, dependable warehouse team. Duties Pick orders using an order picker, reach truck, forklift, cherry picker, or pallet jack as authorized. Scan barcodes with an RF (radio frequency) scanner and use the warehouse management system to confirm picks and update inventory. Pack, label, stock, and stage products; load and unload shipments while supporting shipping and receiving. Handle materials and perform manual handling and heavy lifting in line with safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Check orders for quality and accuracy, maintain organized work areas, and report inventory or equipment concerns. Qualifications Warehouse experience, including order picking, picking and packing, packaging, warehouse distribution, or inventory management, is preferred. Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory management systems, barcode scanning for logistics, and basic math is an asset. Ability to operate material handling equipment and perform heavy equipment operation safely; mechanical knowledge is helpful. Ability to follow safety protocols, use required PPE, and meet the physical demands of materials handling and load/unload tasks. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus, but not required.
