Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Picker, where your energy and precision will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to accurately select, pack, and prepare products for shipment. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely for loading, unloading, and stock movement. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and conducting regular stock counts using warehouse management systems. Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and labeling them correctly in accordance with safety protocols. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks while adhering to manual handling safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all materials handling equipment is in good working order. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation. Experience Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations including order picking, packing, inventory management, shipping & receiving. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing. Experience working in fast-paced distribution centers or warehouses with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Warehouse supervisor experience or similar roles that involve overseeing warehouse activities are a plus but not required.
