Order Picker

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Picker and become a vital part of our fast-paced tire distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their products promptly and in perfect condition. Duties Efficiently pick, load, and unload products using order picker trucks and forklifts. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update order statuses, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Safely load and unload shipments by adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as ladders, racking, forklifts and pickers to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Support warehouse organization by stacking, storing, and managing inventory in designated areas with attention to safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during peak periods. Deliver local orders via company vans. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts, pickers or other industrial machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload operations. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management.
