with precision, and meticulously updating inventory records through cycle counting. You will also be responsible for verifying shipping records, preparing merchandise for storage or delivery, and resolving any discrepancies in incoming or outgoing freight. Operating a pump truck will be your primary method of moving heavy materials at times ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods across the facility floor without the need for forklift certification. You will be trained to use an end rider but it will not likely be required.
This is a three-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, starting on October 19th. The facility is conveniently located on a bus route on Trillium Drive in South Kitchener, making it highly accessible for transit users. You will enjoy a steady daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities
• Manage the receipt of incoming goods, verifying quantities and conditions against shipping manifests
• Execute accurate order picking and prepare materials for prompt dispatch
• Handle all daily invoicing tasks and meticulously process shipping and receiving labels
• Perform efficient stock putaways, ensuring all items are allocated to their designated warehouse bins
• Conduct regular cycle counting to maintain absolute accuracy within the inventory management system
• Clean, refurbish, and visually inspect returned electronic items, specifically headphones
• Test returned merchandise thoroughly to determine viability for either resale or the refurbishment process
• Operate a manual pump truck safely to transport pallets and heavy items across the warehouse floor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with manufacturing & logistics safety standards
Qualifications
• Physical capability to perform light to moderate lifting, including occasional lifts of up to 50 pounds
• Comfort and willingness to work primarily in the back warehouse environment
• Prior experience using a manual pump truck (no forklift license required)
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to fulfill the entirety of the initial three-month contract
• Availability to officially begin the assignment on October 19th
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when testing products or verifying invoice data
• Effective English communication skills for reading labels, processing invoices, and coordinating with team members
• Basic computer literacy for data entry, label generation, and inventory tracking
