Order Management Specialist

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Cypress, TX. In this role, you will be the linchpin between our customers, suppliers, and third-party testing facilities, ensuring seamless order fulfillment within the electronic components and computer hardware sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an exceptional sense of ownership, and the ability to track every order from placement to final delivery. Responsibilities Order Management & Customer Communication: Proactively track and manage customer orders end-to-end. Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, accurate lead times, expected delivery dates, and explanations for any potential delays. Third-Party Testing Coordination: Manage the testing schedule with customer-designated third-party testing facilities. Track the progress of all materials undergoing testing. Post-Testing Logistics: Coordinate the delivery schedule to the customer for materials that pass testing. For materials that fail testing, manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and coordinate returns with suppliers. Supplier Expediting: Organize and track issued Purchase Orders. Actively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely updates and adherence to delivery schedules. Internal Alignment: Provide continuous, accurate updates to internal colleagues and relevant departments to ensure cross-functional alignment. Adaptability: Take on new projects and assume additional duties as assigned to support business needs. Qualifications Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer software. Previous experience with ERP systems and data entry is strongly preferred. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the electronic components, computer hardware, or IT supply chain industry is a significant advantage. Experience working with APAC/Asian suppliers is a big plus Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility, highly self-motivated, and capable of working independently to follow cases through to resolution. Flexibility: Ability to handle occasional urgent orders remotely (work from home) outside of standard business hours as business needs dictate.
