globally across all regions and partners with Distribution Centers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), Customer Supply Chain, Transportation, IT, and Finance to maintain material- and batch-level inventory accuracy, support monthly inventory reconciliation, and keep SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) inventory aligned.
The analyst monitors SAP transactions and resolves errors, investigates transaction and interface failures, master data issues, and inventory exceptions, and coordinates corrective actions. The role analyzes recurring errors, documents escalations and resolutions, and supports SAP testing, process improvements, and deployments. It also prepares and reconciles inventory files, researches discrepancies, supports month-end reconciliation, cycle counts, physical inventory, and audits, and posts approved inventory adjustments in accordance with company controls.
The position develops and maintains reporting on SAP errors, transaction failures, inventory reconciliation, adjustments, and SAP-to-WMS discrepancies. It communicates issue status, root causes, business impact, ownership, and resolution, while identifying improvements to system controls and data quality and documenting standard work and training for recurring processes.
Responsibilities
• Monitor SAP daily and resolve errors affecting Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, inventory transfers and movements, order processing, warehouse processing, and shipping.
• Investigate transaction failures, interface errors, master data issues, inventory exceptions, and other conditions that could interrupt inbound or outbound operations.
• Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams, 3PL partners, IT, and external service providers.
• Analyze recurring SAP errors, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to reduce repeat failures.
• Maintain issue logs, escalation tracking, and resolution documentation for critical operational errors.
• Support SAP testing, process improvements, and system deployment activities.
• Prepare Sol de Janeiro and 3PL inventory files for monthly reconciliation and analyze discrepancies between inventory snapshots.
• Reconcile SAP and WMS inventory at the material, batch, plant, and storage-location level.
• Research inventory differences and coordinate resolution with warehouse, Finance, IT, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, physical inventory, and audit activities.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and identify trends, risks, and recurring sources of variance.
• Determine corrective actions for validated inventory discrepancies and post approved stock adjustments and inventory movement transactions in SAP in accordance with company controls.
• Support inbound and outbound transaction processing, including ODPC and other operational inventory-control processes.
• Assist with Amazon and other key customer or channel inventory activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory issues caused by external operational factors.
• Develop and maintain reporting on SAP errors, transaction failures, inventory reconciliation results, inventory adjustments, and SAP-to-WMS discrepancies.
• Provide status updates on critical issues, root causes, business impact, ownership, and resolution.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen system controls, improve data quality, and reduce manual intervention.
• Document standard work and support training for recurring SAP and inventory processes.
