Order/Inventory Specialist

About Hagglebids: Hagglebids.com hosts online auctions on a weekly basis with new inventory added each week. We have a wide variety of inventory such as furniture, sporting goods, toys, clothing, and much more. Our inventory comes from some amazing retails stores that you may currently shop at. We take pride in how detailed we are with checking and uploading inventory to our webpage to help build a trusting and transparent relationship with our customers. The position: Inventory Specialist/Customer Service: The inventory specialist is a key role in our business. They are responsible for inspecting and uploading new inventory to our auctions on a weekly basis. The inventory specialist also helps by preparing the bidders' winning items for their pickup appointments. · Key Responsibilities oListing inventory for the website. Roughly 130-160 items per week. This includes checking items for damages/if it is complete, taking pictures, and typing up descriptions of each item that is processed. In total we are currently listing 800 items each week for our general auction. o Managing pick-up appointments along with the rest of the team! Our bidders pick-up their winning items Wednesday-Friday via set appointments times. o Helping take part in other miscellaneous duties that all employees help with (i.e. maintaining work areas clean and organized, etc.) · Requirements o Highly experienced with Microsoft Office programs, Google Docs/Sheets o Previous ecommerce experience like online listing appreciated but not required o Spanish speaking not required but appreciated due to a vast majority of our clientele speaking Spanish o Able to problem-solve/ generate new ideas for the team o Comfortable with completing work at or prior to recommended deadlines o Comfortable learning and working in a fast-paced environment o Comfortable with taking initiative on work tasks o Experience with handling office calls o Must be able to carry minimum 30lbs. We do have to work with some heavy items o Customer service experience o High school diploma required o Communication skills in both a customer service setting & with fellow employees *Please note pay rate depends on experience.
