Order Fulfillment Superviser

Fedco Seeds is hiring a motivated Fulfillment Coordinator to supervise our vegetable, herb, and flower seed warehouse order fulfillment team. Working closely with our inventory and seed packing coordinators, this person will ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and able to multitask in a high-tempo environment. This is a full-time position November through April, shifting to 16–24 hours per week May through October. Primary Responsibilities Supervises the fulfillment crew, organizing and monitoring daily workflow in coordination with the Operations Coordinator. Oversees all order types — main order, back orders, group orders, seed racks, and school fundraisers — ensuring accurate, timely fulfillment. Recruits, hires, trains, and coaches fulfillment staff; identifies and closes skill gaps through ongoing instruction. Sets and monitors productivity standards; plans schedules, assigns work, and resolves operational problems as they arise. Implements and enforces safety standards, organizational policies, and legal/regulatory requirements in the warehouse. Maintains quality and customer service standards across all fulfillment operations. Identifies opportunities to improve fulfillment systems and processes over time. Primary Tasks Crew scheduling and supervision Processing orders including back orders, group orders, seed racks, and school fundraiser orders Pulling and packing orders as needed Shipping orders Troubleshooting order problems and resolving fulfillment issues Qualifications and Required Skills At least one year of personnel management experience Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team Ability to give constructive feedback to a diverse workforce, set and adjust productivity standards, and adapt to shifting seasonal demands High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail Proficiency with ERP (enterprise resource planning) software to manage inventory, orders and other daily operations Comfort operating handheld scanners and label printers Ability to work on your feet eight hours a day; ability to periodically lift 50 lbs.
