Role and Responsibilities:
As a Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will focus on collecting, organizing, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring precise and timely order fulfillment. Your efforts will support seamless warehouse operations and overall productivity.
• Retrieve products from assigned warehouse zones based on order specifications.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products are accurately labeled and stored in correct locations.
• Inspect items for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
• Complete order processing tasks accurately within required timeframes.
• Assist in inventory counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to enhance workflow and efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or order picking preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and standard procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order processing tools.
• Forklift certification or hands-on experience operating similar equipment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
