Order Fulfillment Specialist

Location: Fremont, CA (Fully Onsite) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Standard Business Hours Department: Sales Operations / Customer Support Position Summary We are seeking an Order Fulfillment & Inside Sales Specialist for a Contract-to-Hire position at our Fremont, CA facility. This role focuses on processing customer orders, supporting inside sales operations, maintaining client communication, and coordinating spare parts logistics. Experience in inside sales or order processing within semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or OEM equipment sectors is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Order Processing: Accurately enter and track customer purchase orders, price quotes, and component requests using ERP and CRM platforms. Client Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for customer accounts, addressing inquiries regarding order status, lead times, and pricing details. Order Verification: Review incoming purchase orders to confirm accuracy in pricing, item specifications, and delivery terms. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure prompt order fulfillment. Parts Fulfillment: Check stock availability, fulfill spare parts requests, and manage outgoing shipment paperwork. Proactive Monitoring: Identify potential inventory or operational delays early and communicate clear updates to customers. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of client communications, order histories, and sales documentation within the system database. Qualifications & Requirements Background in order management, sales operations, inside sales, or customer service within a manufacturing environment. Sector background in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, robotics, or high-tech equipment manufacturing is preferred. Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and professional customer service skills. Ability to work full-time on-site in Fremont, CA. Work Environment & Schedule Location: Fully on-site in Fremont, CA. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
