Order Fulfillment Specialist

Gemstone Grass Fed Beef is a 4th generation family owned ranch that has been delivering beef across the province since 2016. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our supply chain and warehouse operations team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders, managing inventory levels, and supporting overall logistics functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution and contributing to process improvements and efficient order processing within a fast-paced environment. Duties Manage order picking, packing, and shipping processes using Warehouse Management Systems. Able to lift 40-60 lbs. Work in -18 Temperature as needed. Coordinate with procurement, sourcing, and transportation teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Oversee inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and data analysis to identify discrepancies. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for freight scheduling, shipping & receiving, and logistics coordination. Support demand planning and pricing strategies to optimize stock levels and meet customer expectations. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts safely for materials handling and packaging tasks. Communicate in English. Implement process improvements in order fulfillment workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Maintain compliance with safety standards, CMMS protocols, and warehouse procedures for materials management. Assist with e-commerce, processing, packaging, and materials sourcing as needed. Hours Monday - Thursday / 6:30am-2:30pm Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, or supply chain management is preferred. Experience operating forklift equipment and understanding of shipping & receiving procedures. Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in order picking and packaging tasks.
