Order Fulfillment Pick and Pack

Reports to: Customer Service and Fulfillment Lead Job Overview: Primarily responsible for picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position ensures that orders are pulled accurately, packed appropriately, and processed correctly before leaving the building. The majority of the work will be focused on mail order shipping and fulfillment. When shipping needs are lighter, this position will assist in other areas of the business as needed. Essential Responsibilities and Duties include the following: Pull products accurately to fulfill customer orders. Check each order before packing to ensure the correct products and quantities have been selected. Inspect products to ensure only first-quality products are packed and shipped. Pack orders into the appropriate boxes using proper packing materials to help protect products during shipping. Create and apply shipping labels accurately. Select the appropriate shipping method. Communicate and work with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and efficient fulfillment. Communicate with customers as needed by phone & email about order questions, inventory, shipping and other issues. Prepare reports as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Good communication and organizational skills Basic math and computer skills, and attention to detail a must Physical dexterity and ability to lift items and containers Ability to deal with pressure during high volume, seasonal sales periods Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, walk, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. They will regularly lift and/or move objects 10-30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. They may occasionally be required to climb and balance. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal. The employee needs to be able to work in a moderate sized shared space. Due to the open environment of the warehouse, you must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. Chocolate sampling is encouraged.
