Order Fulfillment-Greenhouse Production

We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Seasonal Greenhouse Order Fulfillment Team Members to join our Gertens team this fall! In this role, you’ll work closely with Greenhouse Production Supervisors to fulfill wholesale greenhouse orders, ensuring plants are carefully prepared and ready for shipping. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are essential to keeping orders on schedule and supporting our greenhouse operations. Seeking candidates available to start asap, working Monday–Friday or Sunday-Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm, with some overtime as needed. This seasonal position is expected to end around the Christmas season. Grow with Gertens today! What You’ll Do: Pull and package plant materials from various growing ranges to fulfill wholesale orders Prepare plants and materials for shipping while ensuring accuracy and quality Work efficiently from checklists in a fast-paced environment Assist with placing, spacing, and hanging plants throughout the greenhouse Collaborate with team members and Greenhouse Production Supervisors to ensure orders are completed on time Perform additional greenhouse tasks as assigned What You’ll Need: Strong attention to detail when handling and packaging plant materials Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions Order fulfillment or industry experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort working in a greenhouse environment with varying temperatures Must be at least 18 years old to apply Physical & Schedule Requirements: Ability to lift 40–50+ lbs regularly and perform repetitive tasks Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding greenhouse environment Must be available to work 40 hours a week with some weekends and overtime as needed Some of our benefits may include: Competitive wages Day, evening, and weekend schedules Tuition assistance for eligible employees Scholarship opportunities Employee discounts Employee referral bonus Internship program If you enjoy working with plants, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps greenhouse orders moving, we’d love to hear from you!
