Order Fulfillment Coordinator

At Urban Skewers, every order represents someone looking forward to a good meal. Whether it's a quick pickup, a delivery order, or food prepared for an event, getting the details right matters. We're looking for an Order Fulfillment Coordinator who can help keep orders accurate, organized, and ready when customers expect them. You'll work alongside our food preparation and service teams to make sure orders move smoothly from the moment they're received until they're handed off. It's a role for someone who enjoys staying active, communicating with people, and bringing a little order to a busy environment. What You'll Be Responsible For Monitor incoming customer, pickup, delivery, and catering orders. Review order details to confirm accuracy and special instructions. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to keep preparation and pickup times on track. Organize completed orders and verify items before customer or driver handoff. Communicate order status and delays to customers or delivery partners when needed. Help manage order flow during busy service periods. Maintain accurate records of orders, adjustments, and fulfillment issues. Coordinate packaging supplies and notify the team when materials are running low. Assist with planning and organizing larger catering or event orders. Work with staff to resolve missing items, incorrect orders, or last-minute changes. Follow food handling, packaging, cleanliness, and safety procedures. Identify simple ways to improve order accuracy, turnaround times, and the customer experience. What Makes Someone a Good Fit? You don't need years of restaurant management experience to do well here. What matters is that you can stay organized, work well with others, and keep your attention on the details when things get busy. We're looking for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in order fulfillment, food service, restaurant operations, retail, customer service, logistics, or a similar environment. You should be comfortable using point-of-sale systems, order management platforms, or basic computer applications. Experience with online ordering or delivery platforms is helpful. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to manage changing priorities are important.
