Order Fulfillment Coordinator

Position Summary Cook's Cargo Express LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Coordinator to help organize customer orders and coordinate the activities involved in preparing shipments. This role combines order tracking, document handling, inventory checks, and communication with team members to keep daily operations running efficiently. The coordinator will help ensure that order information is accurate, packages are prepared correctly, and shipment updates are recorded in a timely manner. Responsibilities Review new orders and verify product descriptions, quantities, and delivery details. Coordinate order preparation with team members responsible for picking and packing items. Track order progress and update records as orders move through the fulfillment process. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other documents needed for dispatch. Check item availability and communicate potential stock shortages to the appropriate team member. Confirm that packages are labeled correctly and assigned to the proper shipment. Maintain organized records of completed, pending, and delayed orders. Help resolve routine order discrepancies by checking information and contacting relevant coworkers. Communicate schedule changes and shipment updates to the appropriate internal teams. Assist with general administrative tasks related to order processing and shipping coordination. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. No previous experience required; training will be provided. Basic computer skills and the ability to enter information accurately. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow procedures and manage several routine tasks. Clear communication skills and a cooperative attitude. Dependable attendance and willingness to learn new processes. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with order processing, shipping paperwork, inventory tracking, or warehouse operations is helpful but not required. Comfortable working with spreadsheets or order management systems. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shipment schedules.
