Responsibilities Efficiently pick orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and speed. Operate various warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools following safety protocols. Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying order contents against system records. Manage inventory movement within the warehouse using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Load and unload shipments safely using appropriate heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct quality control checks to confirm that orders are complete, accurate, and meet company standards before dispatch. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety procedures including PPE use and manual handling guidelines. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely on a regular basis. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, safe load/unload procedures, and material handling equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy and quality control. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting.
