ORDER FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE **18+ REQIRED** M-F, weekends as needed, HOLIDAYS as needed, typical shift will range from 8am-4pm/5pm. All dependent on business needs. Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Hours: 30–40 hours per week Locations: Freehold, Middletown & Brick Reports To: Store Management / E-Commerce or Order Fulfillment Supervisor POSITION OVERVIEW Livoti’s Old World Market is looking for a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Associate to join our team. The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately shopping and preparing customer orders placed for in-store pickup. This position works throughout the store selecting fresh, high-quality products while ensuring each order is complete, accurate, properly handled, and ready for the customer when they arrive. THIS IS AN IN-STORE POSITION. NO DELIVERY IS REQUIRED. You will be an important part of the customer experience by making sure every pickup order meets Livoti’s standards for quality, accuracy, freshness, and presentation. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and review customer orders for in-store pickup. Shop customer orders throughout the store accurately and efficiently. Select products based on quality, freshness, size, and customer specifications. Communicate with department employees when assistance is needed with specialty items, meats, deli products, bakery items, produce, or other products. Follow customer substitutions and special instructions according to company guidelines. Carefully inspect products before placing them into customer orders. Properly bag, organize, label, and stage completed orders for pickup. Maintain appropriate temperatures and food-safety standards for refrigerated and frozen products. Ensure orders are complete and ready within the expected timeframe. Double-check orders for accuracy before they are released to the customer. Communicate professionally with customers when they arrive for pickup. Assist customers with locating their pickup orders and loading groceries into their vehicles when appropriate. Keep the order fulfillment and staging area clean, organized, and properly stocked. Report missing, damaged, unavailable, or questionable products to management. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food safety, customer service, cleanliness, and loss prevention. Assist other departments when order volume is low or additional help is needed. Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude throughout the workday. CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS At Livoti’s, customers always come first. QUALIFICATIONS Previous grocery, retail, customer service, or order fulfillment experience preferred but not required. Must be dependable and punctual. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable walking throughout the store and handling groceries for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry grocery bags and merchandise as required. Must be able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs require. SCHEDULE 30–40 hours per week. Scheduling will be based on store needs, order volume, and availability. Weekend availability is required. IMPORTANT NO DELIVERY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
