Order Fulfillment and Packaging Technician

Realeaf Botanicals, a licensed Illinois craft cannabis cultivator, infuser, and transporter, is seeking a detail-oriented Order Fulfillment and Packaging Technician to support the compliant packaging, labeling, and fulfillment of cannabis products. This role is responsible for preparing finished goods for sale by accurately weighing, filling, sealing, labeling, and staging products in accordance with Illinois cannabis regulations, internal SOPs, and quality standards. Order fulfillment responsibilities include accurately processing and preparing dispensary orders, verifying product quantities and labeling, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring orders are properly packaged, documented, and ready for transport. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday. Hours of operation: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient in repetitive production tasks, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy. Strong teamwork, time management, and a commitment to compliance and product integrity are essential in this regulated manufacturing environment. Order Fulfillment Accurately pick, verify, label, and prepare cannabis products for dispensary orders according to order requirements. Review order details to ensure correct products, quantities, SKUs, and batch information are selected. Process and maintain order fulfillment records using inventory management and seed-to-sale tracking systems. Verify completed orders for accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance prior to shipment. Organize, stage, and prepare completed orders for scheduled transportation and delivery. Communicate with the production, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or order errors to management. Product Packaging & Labeling Accurately weigh, count, and package cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, vape cartridges, and infused products. Apply compliant labels and verify all required product information (batch numbers, potency, warnings, and tracking data). Seal and prepare finished goods for distribution while maintaining product quality and presentation standards. Assemble packaging components including jars, mylar bags, tubes, boxes, and inserts. Production Line Support Execute packaging runs in alignment with production schedules and batch requirements. Maintain organization of packaging materials and finished goods during active production. Assist with packaging and order fulfillment responsibilities based on daily operational priorities. Potential Brand Ambassador Opportunities May have opportunities to represent Realeaf Botanicals at local dispensary pop-up events and promotional activities. Engage with dispensary staff and customers to provide product education, increase brand awareness, and promote Realeaf Botanicals' product lines. Assist with building and maintaining positive relationships with dispensary partners. Participation in these events may be offered based on business needs, employee interest, and demonstrated product knowledge. Compliance & Documentation Record packaging and order fulfillment data accurately in batch records, inventory management systems, and seed-to-sale tracking systems. Verify product weights, counts, SKU accuracy, and order quantities prior to final release or shipment. Follow all applicable Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) packaging, labeling, inventory, and transportation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and traceability of cannabis products throughout packaging and order fulfillment. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal SOPs at all times.
