Order Fulfillment and Operations Lead

Norwix, Inc. is seeking a capable, hands-on Order Fulfillment & Operations Lead to manage the day-to-day operations of our order processing, inventory levels, customer service, general inside sales operations, and shipping/receiving workflows. This position is directly responsible for monitoring, measuring, recommending, and implementing process improvements that will continually enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of Norwix operations. Essential Job Functions Operations Management: Direct daily order fulfillment activities to ensure flawless entry, processing, and on-time shipping with zero errors. Order Tracking & Scheduling: Monitor customer orders and collaborate directly with the production department to establish reliable lead and delivery times. Reporting & Analytics: Generate formal operational reports and sales analyses for management to support data-driven decision-making. Executive Liaison: Partner closely with executive leadership to ensure all customer requirements and specifications are met on a timely basis. Database Administration: Maintain the ERP database with real-time accuracy regarding customer accounts, discount parameters, and pricing tiers. Demand Forecasting: Cross-collaborate with sales, production, and management teams to build production schedules and forecasts that guarantee product availability. Process Improvement: Evaluate, measure, and implement continuous workflow enhancements to scale the efficiency and reliability of order processing. Departmental Support: Provide proactive back-up support for customer order entry (phone, email, web) and shipping/receiving warehouse workflows. Sales & Marketing Alignment: Assist sales and marketing initiatives, including coordinating with the Marketing Director to develop programs that boost ink sales. Market Intelligence: Monitor market shifts and update management on relative competitive data. Supervisory Responsibility Team Leadership: Serve as the direct operational lead and mentor for the Inside Sales Coordinator. Qualifications & Technical Requirements Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional work experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in order management, fulfillment operations, or logistics. ERP Proficiency: Ability to learn and effectively use Syteline ERP software for general business purposes (order entry, purchasing, tracking, and shipping logistics). Software Literacy: In-depth professional knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common computer applications. Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a dedication to world-class customer service.
