The Role: As an Inside Sales & Order Desk Representative, you will be the heartbeat of our daily branch operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, handling everything from technical product inquiries to order fulfillment. Your Day-to-Day: Process and verify incoming orders and quotes received via email, phone, and in-person. Actively recommend tailored product solutions and alternative options for out-of-stock items. Partner closely with our Shipping & Purchasing Departments to ensure seamless, accurate order coordination. Provide exceptional customer service by proactively managing backorder ETAs and building long-term client relationships. Look up complex parts using digital and physical manuals to solve customer challenges. Showcase your technical knowledge by demonstrating product and equipment features to clients. Maintain a sharp showroom floor by keeping displays organized, clean, and fully stocked. Check computer inventory levels swiftly and accurately. Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise, with the ability to repeatedly lift up to 35 lbs. What You Bring: Knowledge Essential: A solid familiarity with fasteners, power tools, hand tools, compressors, air nailers, and staplers. Experience Preferred: Prior experience working at an order desk or in an industrial sales setting is highly valued Mindset: Friendly, confident, positive, and motivated, and a genuine team player who truly enjoys the art of sales. Skills: A fast learner who thrives on multitasking, possesses a sharp eye for detail, and maintains a highly professional demeanor under pressure.
