Order Desk Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Desk Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating with sales and warehouse staff, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. Job Summary: The Order Desk Clerk plays an important role in the daily operations at Senso; handling customer orders, preparing sales documents, answering product and order inquiries, and coordinating product availability, pickups, and deliveries. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Receive, enter, and process customer orders accurately through the company’s point-of-sale or order management system. Assist customers with order inquiries, product availability, pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules. Verify product codes, descriptions, quantities, pricing, and customer information to ensure order accuracy. Monitor order status and follow up on backorders, delayed shipments, and outstanding customer requests. Arrange customer pickups and deliveries in accordance with store procedures. Communicate product substitutions, shortages, and delivery updates to customers and internal departments. Maintain accurate order records and organize related paperwork and electronic files. Assist with returns, exchanges, order corrections, and customer complaints professionally. Support inventory checks and communicate stock discrepancies to the appropriate department. Maintain a professional, helpful, and service-oriented approach when dealing with customers and coworkers.
