Big Brands IncAbout the Role We’re a wholesale distribution company looking for a sharp, motivated person to join our Order Desk team. This is an entry-level role built for growth. You’ll start with processing orders from our CRM & EDI platforms along with customer communication, then take on more responsibility over time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy. This role offers room to grow, with the chance to become a key part of our order desk operations. Who We Are Big Brands Inc. is a Canadian distributor launched in 2014, specializing in trial & travel sized products with a growing team of over 30 people. Our innovative retail-ready boxes, known as Gravity Packs, set us apart from competitors and help retailers keep shelves organized, easy to shop, and visually appealing for customers. What You’ll Do Create and process sales orders and invoices accurately and on time Communicate with customers by phone and email; order status, website inquiries, resolving issues, directing to other departments, etc. Track orders and generate reports using our ERP system and Excel Keep data clean, organized, and up to date Assist with data entry and administrative tasks, such as filing and maintaining order records. Work with the fulfillment team to meet daily shipping and delivery deadlines Take on new tasks and responsibilities as you learn the business and take initiative What Does a Day in This Role Look Like? You’ll usually begin by catching up on emails and voicemails from afterhours. You’ll download new orders and get them ready for processing with our warehouse picking staff. This includes some manual entry and CSV import & export. Then, the focus generally shifts to invoicing and printing packing slips to ensure our shipping department has what they need to get the day’s shipments out on time. Priorities change throughout the day and week, so be ready to pivot when needed! Your day will generally end with more order processing and invoice filing. What Does Success Look Like? Your first month of training focuses on learning our customer base and products as well as our CRM and ERP systems. You will become comfortable with processing sales orders and creating invoices for our smaller customers. By day 60 you will be introduced to some of our major retail customers (including ones like Sobeys, Canadian Tire, and Loblaws). We encourage asking questions at any time throughout the learning process! Necessary Skills to Make You Stand Out Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both quickly and accurately Ability to stay organized and calm under high-pressure deadlines Comfort with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, especially Excel or Sheets Tech-savvy, with the ability to pick up new software (including ERP systems) quickly Clear and professional communication skills, written and verbal Reliable attendance and punctuality required to support team operations A willingness to learn and take ownership Administrative and/or accounting experience is an asset Ideal Candidate Someone who wants to build a career with a company that invests in them.
