What you'll do Order Processing: Handle incoming products from the paint line, ensuring correct quantities, part transactions, and customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Inventory Management: Conduct daily and monthly system-generated inventories, maintain storage areas, and manage supplies within the department to ensure smooth operations. Data Entry & Reporting: Enter data, print and apply labels on products, and write reports to maintain accurate records of all orders and transactions. Technical Support: Install locks on parts and learn to troubleshoot issues with robotic equipment to support production continuity. Physical Requirements: Walk and stand approximately 75% of the day, sit at a computer 25% of the day, frequently climb stairs, bend, reach, and occasionally lift items up to 75 pounds. Shipping & Receiving: Safely transport and organize castings within the warehouse using a forklift, prepare shipments, verify quantities, and generate packing slips and shipping labels to ensure accuracy. What you'll bring Must-haves: High school diploma or GED Good reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management Nice-to-haves : Experience with Oracle or similar inventory management systems Forklift operation skills or certification Basic troubleshooting skills for robotic or automated equipment Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Why join Weir?
