Role Description The Order Builder role at Canteen is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntersville, NC. In this role, the individual selects products according to order specifications, builds and organizes orders, and prepares them for shipment or delivery. Daily tasks include accurately picking items, packing and staging orders, and assisting with loading or unloading materials as needed to support warehouse operations. The Order Builder maintains a clean, safe work area, follows established procedures, and may use material handling equipment to move products. The role also involves working closely with team members and supervisors to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety standards. Qualifications Ability to perform accurate order picking and order building tasks, with attention to detail. Skills in packing and staging orders to ensure safe, organized, and timely shipment. Experience or familiarity with forklift operation or other material handling equipment, and safe unloading of products. Understanding of basic operations management principles related to warehouse or distribution environments. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move products for extended periods, following safety guidelines. Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Basic math and reading skills to follow written instructions, labels, and inventory documents. Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics settings is beneficial.
