Operations Training Supervisor

Flexcold is seeking an Operations Training Supervisor to provide operational leadership across all warehouse shifts while supporting employee training, onboarding, and development initiatives. This position serves as a key member of the operations leadership team and acts as the primary supervisory backup across multiple shifts and departments.

This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse supervisor who enjoys coaching employees, solving operational challenges, and driving consistency across teams.

What You'll Do

Operations Leadership

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and customer service expectations are met.
• Provide leadership coverage across shifts during supervisor absences, vacations, leaves, training events, and staffing shortages.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings, communicate priorities, and maintain effective shift-to-shift communication.
• Monitor operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures.

Employee Development & Training Support

• Partner with HR to support onboarding, employee development, and training initiatives.
• Facilitate operational training and reinforce standard operating procedures.
• Track new hire progress and provide feedback regarding employee readiness and performance.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and training matrices.
• Conduct MHE evaluations, certifications, and recertifications.
• Coach supervisors, leads, and team members to support employee growth and operational excellence.

Cross-Shift Leadership

• Serve as a visible leadership presence across all shifts.
• Promote consistency in operational execution, employee accountability, safety standards, and communication.
• Support supervisors in addressing operational challenges and workforce development opportunities.
• Assist with staffing, labor planning, and workforce readiness efforts.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience coaching, training, or mentoring employees.
• Experience in cold storage, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF technology, and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to work in cold and below-freezing warehouse environments.
