Operations Supervisor (night shift, Class A required) Location: Clear Brook, VA, USA - 4027 Martinsburg Pike Shift – Monday, Tuesday - 2pm-10:30pm. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 11am-7:30pm. (or until completion) Note - Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. As this is a supervisor position, overtime may be required for emergencies, etc. Competitive base pay, PTO, a bonus program and benefits are included with this full-time permanent position Job Summary Oversees evening operational activities within a McKesson distribution center or facility, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and achievement of operational goals. This role involves leading a team, optimizing processes, and contributing to a high-performance culture. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor a team of operational staff, including performance management, coaching, and development. Monitor and manage daily operational metrics, including productivity, quality, and safety, to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., inventory, transportation, customer service) to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues. Manage inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes. Prepare and analyze operational reports, providing insights and recommendations to management. Respond to and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner. Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely and efficiently. Minimum Requirements: Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities Qualifications and Skills 3+ years of experience in an operational supervisory role, preferably within a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Strong understanding of warehousing, logistics, and supply chain principles. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational software. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution center, including prolonged standing, walking, and frequent movement throughout the facility and yard.
