Operations Supervisor

Position Summary: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping, with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and on-time execution. The role works closely with production, warehouse, shipping, suppliers, and management teams to maintain smooth operations, support continuous improvement, and achieve company objectives. Essential Functions: · Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities across Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Shipping to ensure efficient workflow, timely execution, and compliance with operational requirements. · Complete structured cross-training across the Raft Room, Warehouse, and Shipping Departments, developing hands-on knowledge of processes, equipment, documentation, workflows, and the end-to-end flow of products and materials from manufacturing through final customer shipment. · Support daily manufacturing activities in the Raft Room, ensuring production schedules, quality requirements, safety procedures, and productivity standards are consistently met. · Monitor warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management and accuracy, order fulfilment, loading/unloading, organization, and material movement, while investigating discrepancies and supporting corrective actions. · Monitor operational performance and KPIs, identify issues and operational risks, and implement or support corrective actions and solutions to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operations. · Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, reducing waste, controlling costs, and optimizing labor, equipment, materials, and warehouse space. · Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable industry regulations across operational activities. · Train, support, and provide guidance to employees to promote consistent performance, teamwork, accountability, and employee development. · Monitor equipment condition, maintenance requirements, and operational issues, escalating concerns to management and supporting timely resolution. · Maintain accurate operational records and reports, provide management with updates on performance and improvement opportunities, and perform other operational and supervisory duties as assigned by management. Position Qualifications: The position requires cross-functional exposure and hands-on training across the Raft Room, Warehouse, and Shipping Department, developing a comprehensive understanding of the company’s end-to-end operational processes . · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred. · 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping/logistics, or a related operational environment. · Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. · Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and operational coordination skills. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across Production, Warehouse, Shipping, Sales, and Management teams. · Ability to manage and coordinate multiple operational functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. · Experience with ERP, WMS, SAP, or similar operational systems is a plus. · Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, equipment, and operational systems. · Forklift or other warehouse equipment experience is a plus.
