Responsibilities Supervise daily store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a strong retail team. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Control inventory levels through stock management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory audits. Coordinate purchasing decisions and vendor relations to maintain optimal stock levels and product availability. Implement operational policies related to store management, safety procedures, budgeting, and shift scheduling to maximize efficiency. Skills Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage managerial conversations effectively. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, inventory control, and retail math for accurate financial oversight. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases. Strong organizational skills with proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processes. Experience in retail sales management within grocery or general merchandise environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability in training & development initiatives along with operational management strategies. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock replenishment procedures, and pricing strategies. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
