Position Summary The Operations & Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational performance of a cabinetry distribution facility, with a strong emphasis on hands-on, on-site monitoring , correction, and workflow control . This role ensures accurate receiving, staging, quality checks, inventory movement, loading, and outbound coordination. The Supervisor also oversees 1–2 office staff members who support scheduling, paperwork, customer communication, and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a physical, fast-paced warehouse environment, understands distribution workflows, and can lead both warehouse personnel and office support to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, staging, quality inspection, loading, and dispatch. Maintain constant on-site presence to monitor workflow, correct errors, and ensure operational standards are met. Lead and support warehouse team members, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to SOPs. Supervise 1–2 office staff responsible for scheduling, paperwork, customer updates, and administrative tasks. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, installers, and internal logistics teams. Ensure accurate inventory counts, proper labeling, and correct movement of cabinetry products. Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to identify issues, bottlenecks, or safety concerns and implement corrective actions. Train staff on proper handling of cabinetry products to minimize damage and improve quality control. Monitor KPI performance and report daily/weekly metrics to management. Prepare and present site operating results at monthly business reviews with corporate leadership. Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations. Support problem-solving for delivery issues, damaged goods, missing items, or customer escalations. Collaborate with corporate operations, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth distribution flow. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Receiving Accuracy Rate (target: 98%+) Inventory Accuracy (target: 97%+) Damage Rate (target: <1%) On-Time Outbound Dispatch (target: 95%+) Facility Safety Compliance (zero violations) Daily Workflow Completion (100% of scheduled tasks) Team Productivity & Attendance (meets established benchmarks) Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, or related field. Experience supervising warehouse staff; experience supervising office/admin staff is a plus. Strong hands-on leadership style — comfortable spending most of the day on the warehouse floor. Ability to lift, move, and inspect cabinetry products as needed. Working knowledge of ERP and inventory systems ( NetSuite preferred), scanners, and basic computer applications. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick operational decisions. Familiarity with cabinetry , construction materials , or building products preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high operational standards. Work Environment Full-time, on-site role in a cabinetry distribution facility.
