Operations – Same Day Delivery/Courier Company

We are looking for a well-rounded, detail-oriented operations person to help grow one of the largest same day delivery companies in the Cleveland area. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with both customers and drivers, and can help manage day-to-day operations efficiently. Position Overview Your responsibilities will include: Dispatching and routing drivers throughout Northeast Ohio Communicating with customers regarding deliveries, pickups, and special requests Coordinating with drivers throughout the day to ensure on-time service Adjusting routes and solving problems as they arise Recruiting and working with quality drivers Assisting with light warehouse duties as needed Helping resolve after-hours or weekend issues when necessary Schedule Starting time will generally be between 8:00–9:30 AM with shifts ending between 5:00–6:00 PM depending on operational needs. Requirements High school diploma or GED 1–2+ years of delivery experience. Preferably in the same day delivery industry. Having experience in dealing with independent contractors a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Good knowledge of Northeast Ohio roads and directions Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Leadership and decision-making ability Eager to work with modern technology Able to lift 50 lbs. in our warehouse.
