Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead daily restoration operations, drive production performance, and ensure exceptional service delivery across water, fire, mold, and reconstruction projects.

This role is responsible for overseeing field teams, managing project flow, maintaining profitability, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily restoration and reconstruction operations

  • Manage project scheduling, staffing, and workflow efficiency

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards

  • Monitor production KPIs including job profitability, cycle times, and customer satisfaction

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Project Managers, Technicians, and Production staff

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and training sessions

  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism

Financial & Performance Oversight

  • Review job costing, WIP reports, and production metrics

  • Approve estimates, change orders, and vendor invoices

  • Monitor labor efficiency and material usage

  • Ensure margin targets and revenue goals are met

Customer & Client Relations

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for customer concerns

  • Build relationships with insurance adjusters, TPAs, property managers, and commercial clients

  • Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction ratings

Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies

  • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and local/state regulations

  • Maintain proper documentation and job file integrity

Emergency Response

  • Participate in on-call rotation

  • Support CAT (catastrophe) events and large-loss coordination as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of restoration or construction operations experience

  • 3+ years in a supervisory or management role

  • Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold mitigation and reconstruction processes

  • Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating platforms

  • Familiarity with TPA programs and insurance workflows

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

  • Strong financial acumen and job costing experience

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

  • IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT)

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification

  • Experience managing large-loss or CAT events
