Operations Manager

Overview Lead daily retail operations and keep the store running smoothly, from staffing and customer service to inventory and sales. As Operations Manager, you’ll guide the team, coordinate store priorities, and use sound judgment to support a welcoming, organized shopping experience. Your impact: Strong operations help customers find the products they need while giving employees clear direction and support. Duties Manage store operations, shift coverage, and team performance; supervise employees and support employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training and development. Oversee inventory management and control, purchasing, stocking, merchandising, pricing, and retail store product knowledge. Support sales management, retail sales, and retail industry sales team management; monitor budgets and apply retail math and basic math to daily decisions. Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cashiering, cash handling, payroll, and bookkeeping; follow established procedures. Resolve customer service needs and communicate with employees and customers using clear managerial communication and professional phone etiquette. Experience Required: Management, leadership, team management, operations management, operational management, store management, retail management, and supervising experience. Required: Strong communication skills, organizational skills, time management, negotiation, and customer service. Preferred: Assistant manager experience and experience with POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, sales, pricing, and cash handling. Preferred: Multilingual or bilingual communication skills; familiarity with retail sales, retail math, cashiering, payroll, bookkeeping, and employee orientation.
