Summary
The Operations Manager serves as a strategic business partner to assigned franchisees, coaching them to achieve sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role leverages data-driven insights from our business management systems (including CRM, ProfitKeeper, P&L Statements, and Balance Sheets) to guide franchisees in making informed decisions that improve performance and long-term health.
As primary point of contact for a portfolio of franchisees, the Operations Manager combines relationship-based coaching, financial acumen, and operational excellence to ensure that franchisees operate in alignment with brand standards, adopt best practices, and execute against individualized growth plans throughout the franchise lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Coaching & Financial Performance
- Serve as a trusted advisor and business coach to an assigned portfolio of franchisees, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Analyze franchisee financials (P&L, balance sheet, ProfitKeeper) to assess profitability, cash flow, and cost structures.
- Conduct regular financial and performance reviews, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Coach franchisees on financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
- Partner with franchisees to develop annual business plans aligned to revenue, expense, and growth goals.
- Revenue Growth and Operational Excellence
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators including revenue growth, close rates, margin performance, and operational efficiency.
- Guide franchisees in improving sales performance using a consultative sales model.
- Support franchisees in strengthening execution across design, installation, and local area marketing practices.
- Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Franchise Lifecycle Support
- Lead franchisees through onboarding and launch, establishing a structured coaching cadence following initial training.
- Adapt coaching strategies based on franchisee maturity, performance level, and stage of growth.
- Provide ongoing support through scheduled calls, virtual meetings, and in-person field visits.
- Conduct quarterly business and operational reviews to assess progress and reset goals.
- Brand Standards, Compliance & Consistency
- Monitor alignment with brand standards, operational requirements, and compliance expectations
- Coach franchisees on consistent execution to protect brand equity and drive system-wide performance.
- Identify and address performance gaps through structured action plans.
- Enablement and Continuous Improvement
- Leverage CRM and business management tools (CRM, DOMO, ProfitKeeper) to track performance and guide coaching priorities.
- Identify common franchisee challenges and share insights with internal partners to improve systems, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to the sharing of best practices and the development of training content, webinars, regional meetings, and franchise conventions.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of business fundamentals including operations, sales, marketing, and finance.
- Demonstrated experience coaching business owners or multi-unit operators toward improved performance.
- Advanced ability to analyze financial statements and performance data.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and coach across diverse franchisee profiles.
- Ability to leverage systems and data to tailor coaching strategies to individual franchisee needs.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and business technology; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field, and
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting, coaching, or managing franchise, small business, or multi-unit operations, or
- A combination of education and experience.
- Prior business ownership or franchise experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with financial statements, KPIs, and CRM systems is required.
Physical and Workplace Requirements
- Light-duty work environment – primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- If a candidate resides near Flower Mound, TX: Hybrid model – Work from the office on Tues/Wed/Thurs and from home on Mon/Fri

The base salary range for this position is $97,000 - 108,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education and work location. At Home Franchise Concepts, we offer a highly competitive benefits package designed to support you and your family. Our offerings include medical, dental, and vision insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and supplemental life insurance. Associates are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and can participate in our 401(k) retirement plan, which includes matching contributions equal to 100% of the first three percent of eligible compensation contributed and 50% of the next two percent. In addition, we provide 10 paid holidays, 8 paid hours for associates to volunteer in their community, and open time off to support work-life balance.
