We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and lead all field operations and crop production activities. This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic responsibility, working closely with the Owner/GM, who will remain actively involved in the business. A one-year training and transition period is planned to ensure long-term success and alignment.

- Lead and execute field operations, crop production, and equipment utilization strategies.
- Collaborate with the Owner/GM on long-term planning, production goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules, capital investments, and technology upgrades.

- Review, refine, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize farm management and data systems (e.g., Maintain X, AgVero, AGI Suretrack, Operations Center, Team Desk) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Partner with leadership on annual budgets, labor planning, and ROI analysis.
- Support safety training, compliance programs, and risk management protocols.
- Provide weekly operational updates and lead end-of-season debriefs to identify improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Farm Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in farm operations management or crop production.
- 4+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams or supervisors.
- Strong background in farm equipment operation, maintenance, and ag technology.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, process improvement, and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of agricultural safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with farm data collection and management systems.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Class A CDL, Pesticide Applicator License, and safety certifications preferred.
- Willingness to work long hours seasonally and operate in both office and field environments.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Up to $120,000 annually, based on experience and skillset
- Performance Bonus: Up to $10,000 annually, based on operational and performance metrics
