Operations Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize the daily functions of our retail or service environment. This role is vital in ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of overseeing inventory, sales processes, staff training, and operational procedures to drive business success. As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties Oversee daily store or branch operations, ensuring all activities align with company policies and standards Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets Coordinate recruiting efforts including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training to develop staff skills and knowledge Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management Monitor sales performance, manage pricing strategies, and oversee retail math calculations for accurate reporting Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide managerial communication to support team growth Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with safety protocols Manage purchasing decisions and vendor relationships to optimize procurement processes Maintain organizational standards for customer service excellence and store presentation Skills Strong negotiation abilities with vendors, suppliers, and team members Proven experience in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development Multilingual or bilingual skills preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively Extensive management experience within retail industry sales teams or store environments Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping tools Excellent leadership capabilities with supervisory experience in retail or grocery settings Sound understanding of retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and operational procedures Effective communication skills for managerial conversations and team collaboration Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus Strong time management skills coupled with basic math proficiency for daily financial tasks Join us as an Operations Manager to lead with energy, inspire your team, and elevate our store’s performance!
