Operations Manager

Job Summary Lead daily store operations and keep people, products, and processes moving smoothly. As Operations Manager, you’ll guide teams across retail sales, staffing, inventory, purchasing, and store administration. Apply sound judgment, clear communication, and hands-on leadership to support a consistent customer experience. Your impact: Effective inventory control and team coordination help customers find the products they need while enabling employees to serve them confidently. Duties Manage store operations, shifts, and team performance; supervise employees and support assistant managers. Lead recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training and development, and ongoing team management. Oversee inventory management, stocking, merchandising, purchasing, pricing, and retail store product knowledge. Monitor sales, budgets, payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling; support cashiering and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Deliver customer service, resolve concerns, use negotiation skills, and communicate operational priorities. Requirements Experience in retail management, store management, operations management, or operational management; retail industry sales team management or assistant manager experience is preferred. Skills in leadership, managerial communication, time management, organization, and supervising; experience with sales management, retail sales, wireless sales, or grocery store operations is useful. Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, retail math, basic math, budgeting, payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling. Strong customer service, communication, and phone etiquette; multilingual or bilingual ability is a plus. Familiarity with shift management, sales, purchasing, pricing, and merchandising is valued.
