We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager who’s ready to lead people, improve systems, and help scale a growing service organization. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of our Service Division, Warehouse, and Fleet, while also playing a key role in shaping the future of our business. Lead & Grow the Team
- Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of service managers, technicians, warehouse staff, and administrators
- Hire, train, and mentor team members to support long-term growth
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and coaching
- Lead with purpose and align daily operations with company values and mission
Drive Operational Excellence
- Own all service repairs, maintenance routes, and project-related service oversight
- Build and refine workflows, controls, and reporting systems that support scale
- Identify training opportunities and create education programs for both staff and clients
- Improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across service operations
Be in the Field & Set the Standard
- Conduct job site visits to ensure safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Support service managers and technicians with real-time problem-solving
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Act as a go-to leader for customer escalations and service concerns
- Partner closely with Sales, Purchasing, Aquatics, HR, and Accounting to ensure smooth execution
- Represent the company in client-facing and community engagements
Manage Tools, Fleet & Resources
- Oversee fleet operations, tool tracking, warehouse processes, and inventory management
- Ensure preventative maintenance and timely repair or replacement of equipment
- Identify resource needs and support capital planning for continued growth
Think Strategically & Help Scale the Business
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Help drive operational, financial, and service-level goals
- Stay ahead of industry trends within the aquatics service space
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, training, compensation, and growth initiatives
Operations Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in commercial/residential services, plumbing, HVAC, aquatics, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field
- Experience in aquatics management or the commercial pool industry
