Operations Manager

The company delivers structured cabling, commercial electrical, and A/V and conference room technology services under one roof, providing clients with a single accountable team. STINTE supports projects ranging from single-site installations to complex multi-site rollouts. The team plans, installs, tests, and documents every job to ensure quality, reliability, and consistency for its customers. Role Description This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for monitoring the status of the business' daily operations across all projects. This role reviews project scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow to ensure on-time and on-budget completion. The Operations Manager works closely with the field project managers, field technicians, travel coordinator, accounting department, and corporate office leadership to monitor performance, resolve operational issues, and maintain safety and quality standards. This position also manages vendor relationships, supports procurement and inventory oversight, implements process improvements, and prepares operational reports and metrics for management review. The role requires regular onsite presence in Houston at the Company’s office as well as occasional travel to project locations. Qualifications Operations and project management skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and workflow optimization. Experience in low voltage, structured cabling, electrical, or A/V and conference room technology environments. Strong leadership and people management skills, with ability to supervise teams and foster collaboration. Analytical and organizational skills for tracking KPIs, managing documentation, and improving processes. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements in construction or electrical trades. Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with project management software and basic office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, scheduling systems). Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Previous experience in an operations management or supervisory role within a trade or technical services company. Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, and visit local project locations as needed.
