About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to our operations and supply chain. This role sits at the center of the business, connecting product development, marketing, sales, finance, and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly from concept to customer.

 

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys balancing strategy with execution.

 

We’re open to hiring this role as either a full-time employee or a contractor, depending on the right fit.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Operations & Supply Chain

·        Lead production planning, forecasting, and inventory alignment

·        Monitor supply chain performance and proactively address risks

·        Improve systems, dashboards, and SOPs to drive efficiency

·        Lead monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) processes

 

Product Development Coordination

·        Manage timelines from concept to launch

·        Coordinate cross-functional checkpoints (R&D, marketing, operations)

·        Track samples, approvals, and documentation

·        Ensure launch readiness across all teams

 

Vendor & Supplier Management

·        Act as the primary liaison with manufacturers and suppliers

·        Source vendors, manage timelines, and ensure quality standards

·        Support onboarding of new partners

 

Data, Systems & Documentation

·        Maintain SKU, product, and packaging data

·        Support ERP/PLM system updates and reporting

·        Prepare regulatory documentation (INCI, MSDS, etc.)

·        Build and maintain SOPs and forecasting tools

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·        Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on launches and planning

·        Provide insights on costs, timelines, and operational impact

·        Communicate risks, delays, and dependencies clearly

 

Quality & Compliance

·        Ensure testing, documentation, and regulatory submissions are completed

·        Support Health Canada and FDA product notifications

 

Continuous Improvement

·        Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve performance

·        Capture post-launch learnings and refine future workflows

 

What You Bring

·        5+ years in operations, supply chain, or product lifecycle roles

·        Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or cosmetics is a strong asset

·        Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

·        Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills

·        Familiarity with tools like Shopify, HubSpot, or Slack

·        Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

·        Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams

·        Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting timelines

·        Balances big-picture thinking with hands-on execution

·        Solutions-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset

·        Aligned with values around sustainability, inclusivity, and impact

·        Enjoys working in a growing, evolving environment
