Operations Manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead our Hotel operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily Hotel functions, manage teams, and ensure seamless customer experiences. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize sales performance, and foster a positive environment that motivates staff to excel. Duties Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to cultivate a high-performing team. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to maximize sales opportunities and reduce shrinkage. Manage daily store operations including cash handling, POS system oversight, cashiering, and customer service to ensure smooth transactions. Develop and implement strategies to keep customer stastisfaction scores high. Coordinate purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and oversee budgeting processes to maintain profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Utilize organizational skills to schedule shifts effectively, monitor employee performance through managerial communication, and optimize hotel productivity. Experience Proven management experience within the hotel industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory control systems, POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development programs to build effective teams. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases; excellent communication skills are essential. Prior experience in the hotel industry with supervisory responsibilities is preferred; familiarity with hotel knowledge is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using excellent time management skills while maintaining high standards of customer service.
